The end of art: How to paint the Mona Lisa with MS Paint – another youtube first
Once upon a time, not so long ago, it took a genius to paint a picture like the Mona Lisa. For years art students around the globe have spent days learning the techniques and attempting to create a fair copy of da Vinci’s masterpiece. Now thanks to the wonders of Microsoft Paint (found amongst your Windows applications) and a clever guy on YouTube all that has changed. Is nothing sacred anymore?
The Truth is all Fiction Baby
Lucy is no longer with us. The four year old girl who was the inspiration for Julian Lennon’s kindergarten picture (see right) is now one with the stars and the diamonds. For years no-one believed that the premise for Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds was actually so simple. Not L.S.D. at all! One of the most popular running jokes More >

Many of the podcasts, that promise TV shows on the fly, actually offer no more than two minute teasers and are really not worth the effort. The guys from http://www.current.com/ offer the real thing – full half hour shows without commercial breaks. The shows are full of comic interludes though the actual reviews are 100% serious. The most fullfilling show from current, in my mind, is the Rotten Tomatoes Show, hosted by the talented Brett Erlich and Ellen Fox. The show borrows it’s reviews More >
