Hot in Tokyo
It is hot, really hot, so hot that it gives the word hot a bad name. It doesn’t help that the government have again suggested to companies to cool the workplace at a cool 28 degrees celsius! I kid you not. Where I come from that is known as heating!
If Chubby Checker had to rerecord Let’s Twist Again today it would probably sound more like this:
Let’s Shvitz again
Like we did last summer
Let’s Shvitz again
Like we did last year.
With all the central air at
28 degrees, no cooler
The least the management could supply us with
Is beer.

Adele Revisited
A while ago, before the whole world joined my act, I had the pleasure of listening and reviewing an album by an unknown 19 year old English girl whose accent was about as rough as they come. For a change, the music I heard was fresh original and lasting. Adele’s 19 went on to become a big success in Britain, but it wasn’t ill two years later that all hell broke loose.
