Japan – Speechless

There have been only a few times when I have found myself having nothing to say.

Family tragedies and events like September 11th come to mind immediately.

A disaster of a magnitude that has befallen the Japanese people, the same people who are still recovering from Hiroshima, is something that no words can truly capture.

Our hearts and prayers are with this great courageous nation.

I saw this tremendous painting of a tsunami, many years ago, and was captivated by its beauty. I never really understood what tthe painter, Hokusai Kanagawa, was portraying. I do now.
