My first two months blogging
I just realized that I’ve been blogging two months now. Wow! I have written almost 70 blogs in this time, 70! Talk about being prolific. During that time I must have rearranged the way the site looked a hundred times. I have become a domain which seemed the wise thing to do. I tried to switch from blogger to wordpress but kept coming back because the whole process got me a bit overwhelmed. I added Google ads which no one ever clicks on, created a funny Amazon shop and have gathered around 500 readers spread out around the world and a small handful of comments.
I have read everything possible about the does and don’ts of blogging. Checked out the blogs everyone is raving about in the search of the proper way to go, only to find that I prefer my way to theirs. So what have I learned? Well blogging is a marvel. You get everything off your chest and then throw it at the world and say There now it’s yours! It’s probably one of the best forms of therapy around. It beats chatting as you don’t need to have someone available and sympathetic on the other side. After a while I find the blog controls me instead of vice versa. It’s even more addictive than TV. One thing though. Why doesn’t blogger have a spell checker? I have to keep copying my stuff to Word so as not to make a fool of myself. And why does Blogger garbage up my format if I send a blog from Gmail. If you’re listening Google guys please take note. This is the time where I would gladly accept comments, so feel free. I’m still in pre-school really (kindergarden to the Brits), so I need all the help I can get.
