Requiem for A Lost Boy
—From the press – Michael Jackson was finally put to rest – two months after his death

They stoned you with wordsOn your carousel to fame. They left no page unturned. That was part of the game.Your life played like a thriller,The hero gone round the bend. But the director kept secretHow it would tragically end.
It took two months to bury youWhile the bit players fought.Your legacy was marketedAnd everybody bought. Now they’ll open museumsAnd display all your toys. But who’s left out there nowTo protect the lost boys.
Farewell now dear Peter,You’ve walked the last plank. With no Wendy to protect youNeverland goes to the bank. You’ve achieved your life’s missionYou’ll never ever grow oldAnd it’s left to the lost boysTo fight for the gold.

amazing…i kind of relate to michael jackson. though my childhood was amazing, i always feel like i'll never be a grownup, always remain a little boy. i guess everyone has a little michael jackson in them, that's why his death was a bit more personal for everyone.
