Anyone with an Iphone or Ipod Touch can easily download audio or video podcasts via Itunes. Many of the podcasts, that promise TV shows on the fly, actually offer no more than two minute teasers and are really not worth the effort.
The guys from http://www.current.com/ offer the real thing – full half hour shows without commercial breaks.
The shows are full of comic interludes though the actual reviews are 100% serious.
The most fullfilling show from current, in my mind, is the Rotten Tomatoes Show, hosted by the talented Brett Erlich and Ellen Fox. The show borrows it’s reviews from the rotten tomato team and has regular segments of haiku reviews, weekend peekend, trailer time and special corners like the five worst Robin Williams films or Hookers are the best parts in town. Oh and did I mention that as a podcast it comes commercial free?
